Fantastic news from you Big Local team.  Latch Ford Festival is making a welcome return.  We are planning a Festival from 24th of August upto 29th August.

We already have several events being planned, including fundays and sports days.

We are even planning our very first Duck Race which will hopefully take place on the Mersey with the help of Warrington Rowing Club.

From Ducks to Crafts of one kind or another.  Westy Community Centre Action Group are planning a Craft Day at Westy Community Centre.

Saint Margaret's are planning a fun day ath the Hub.

“Margaret Isherwood, group leader (far left) and Eddie Grant Honorary Life President Of Warrington Credit Union (third left) both steering group members of The Latch Ford Big Local Partnership, with their fellow members of the Elders Group at St Margarets.  The group is using their Small Grant to tackle social isolation among older people in the area, providing activities, outings, and lunch time fun every Monday 2- 4pm!


Dedicated volunteers, Shirley Frangleton, (rear left), Lisa Bostock  (far rear) and Sharon Bickerstaff (rear right) at the Silver Service Club at Westy Community Centre celebrate their recent Small Grant award from  The Latch Ford Big Local Partnership.  They are using the funding to  buy new catering equipment so the Club can prepare more hot meals for the elderly folks attending every Friday”




 Local resident and volunteer at the Hub, Rachel Wellbelove (centre) was able to set up her Kids Messy Play group with help from the Big Local’s Small Grant scheme.  The Latch Ford Big Local Partnership supports the group by enabling the purchase of paints & craft materials so local children can benefit from lively art  sessions every Wednesday at St Margarets " Latchford's Community Hub", 1pm – 2.30pm”
